Rob is a native of Columbus, Georgia, where he graduated high school from Brookstone School. He earned his Political Science Degree from the Citadel in 1983 and immediately entered the University Of Georgia Lumpkin School Of Law, where in 1986 he earned his Juris Doctor.

Rob began his legal career as a JAG officer in the United States Army, where he ultimately held various positions from Family Law Officer to Trial Defense Services (criminal defense). Rob has deep experience in family law and has seen great success with his clients in divorce and child custody disputes.

Following his service in the United States Army, Rob returned to Columbus where he worked as a commercial lender, lending and underwriting complex commercial transactions. In addition, he founded and managed a commercial leasing group for a regional banking group and was a Senior Vice President Risk Manager.

As a successful litigator, Rob has received countless notable verdicts and settlements in multiple jurisdictions across Georgia. He is passionate about helping people through difficult times and devotes a portion of his practice to family law matters to include divorce, child custody and support matters. In addition, he is an expert in adoption law wills, guardianships, and probate matters.

Rob currently is serving as a part time public defender in the Muscogee County, Georgia Juvenile Drug Court Program with the goal to reach youth that may have gotten off track, and helps steer them in a more productive direction.

As an experienced Entertainment Attorney, Rob is general counsel for Fun Academy Media Group, LTD and Fun Academy Studios, INC. He well versed in writing and negotiating contracts with actors and distributers both domestic and foreign, SAG-AFRA, and is extremely knowledgeable proficient in all aspects of the movie industry.
