After growing up in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, Tim attended the University of West Georgia Honors College where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in 2007. During his tenure at UWG, Tim gained a wealth of knowledge interning at the Spalding County District Attorney’s office. Upon graduation, Tim attended the University of Georgia School of Law where he received the Law School Association Scholarship each of his three years in attendance. While in law school, he gained valuable legal experience working with the EEOC and ACLU. After graduating cum laude with his Juris Doctor, Tim relocated to Columbus, Georgia.
Tim joined the law firm that would become Poydasheff & Sowers shortly after his move to Columbus, Georgia. Here, he practices family law, probate law and general civil litigation representing individuals and businesses in and around Muscogee and the surrounding counties.
In addition to practicing law, Tim serves his community by sitting on the board and acting as Treasurer of the Sexual Assault Support Center, which provides assistance to victims of sexual assault in Columbus, Georgia, and the surrounding area. When not working, Tim enjoys hiking.
